The Flanerie SE suitcase features a hard shell made of ABS and polycarbonate. This combination gives the case a solid structure that holds its shape under pressure and resists the knocks of everyday travel. The rigid exterior keeps your belongings protected from impact, while the smooth finish stays looking clean after repeated use. A dependable shell built to last through many trips.

02 / 02 - 05

The suitcase closes with a double row of zippers for enhanced security. The zipper runs along the full perimeter of the case, keeping the shell firmly shut during transit. This closure system makes it significantly harder for the bag to be opened without your knowledge, giving you greater peace of mind whether the case is checked in or stored in the overhead compartment.

03 / 03 - 05

The interior is fitted with a lining that covers both sides of the case. Adjustable straps on one side hold your clothes flat and in place during transit. A zippered divider separates the two halves, keeping packed items organized and easy to access on arrival. The layout makes the most of the available space without overcomplicating your packing routine.

04 / 04 - 05

The suitcase has an expandable gusset that adds 1.25 inches in width when you need more room. Open it before you pack and you gain space for an extra outfit or two, or a few souvenirs on the way back. Closing it again is equally straightforward. A practical option for trips where your packing needs shift at the last minute, giving you flexibility without committing to a larger bag.

05 / 05 - 05

The Flanerie SE is fitted with four double wheels that rotate 360 degrees. You can roll the case in any direction without tilting or dragging it, which makes moving through an airport corridor noticeably easier. The wheels run smoothly on flat surfaces and hold steady when the case is fully packed. Weighing 9.3 lbs, the suitcase stays manageable even before you open the expandable gusset.

Airline checked hard shell
The luggage is just the right size for a short trip as checked luggage. I purchased the hard shell because I wanted a case that will keep my clothing dry if exposed to rainy conditions. The bag itself is well made, and the features appear to be made with quality materials. I had a small problem regarding packaging that customer service addressed timely in a favorable way. I am very pleased with the overall color and look of the luggage and will likely buy more items in this collection.
