TURENNE 2.0 22-Inch Front Pocket Carry-On Suitcase, Brick

I had (what I think) was a first version Delsey Turenne carry-on that finally cracked after 13 years of heavy international use. I wanted a similar bag that had a front self-locking pocket, and the Turenne 2.0 fit the bill. I was slightly hesitant because this was smaller than my original carry-on, but considering the increasingly restrictive sizing for carry-ons by airlines, I was confident that while I was sacrificing a bit of space, I would be better off than having to gate-check a bag potentially full of items that I did not want under the plane.

The bag itself is very light, and the addition of a USB port on the side is great, because it is sometimes really hard to find a seat near a plug at the gate. But my main reason in buying it was the lockable front pocket. Most carry-on bags with a front pocket either don't lock at all or rely on purchasing a separate lock with a key - which to me is much less secure. The only other comparable bag from a *known* travel bag brand with a self-contained lock was larger than allowed by the international airlines I fly most, so it wasn't a good option for me.

Two minor drawbacks are that yes, it is a smaller carry-on - and some of that space is lost when using the front pocket for electronics. But again, I needed to make sure it meets the requirements set forth by the airlines I fly most, which it does.
